Artist Statement
The things I do with my family; even though none are by any means necessary, each reflect on all the time we spend together and how we’ve seemed to have morphed into a single soul. These things have formed unconsciously, none of us aware we’d continue them. Unconscious thought created habits which derived from psychological development. A fixation on one thing/feeling/movement can develop over time unknowingly but still grant the same connection that was felt with the other. Some died young but others flourished. I feel, through these somewhat silly things, my connection to my family. It is always known these things/interactions will happen, none ever planned or spoken of. In all their occurrences, I’m aware of how close my family is and how close we will always remain.
